Dr. Ros Davis attained a Bachelor of Dentistry with Honours from the University of Sydney. After graduating, Ros was keen to hone her skills and gain experience in a wide range of dental procedures. She moved west to the Blue Mountains, and then Orange, where she built strong relationships with patients with serious dental needs. In 2016, Ros decided to return home to Sydney with her husband to be closer to family and friends.
Ros loves getting to know her patients and listening to their stories. She also enjoys seeing children, and endeavours to help them develop positive attitudes towards seeing the dentist. Ros has had great success treating nervous kids and adults alike; her goal is to make an appointment at the dentist as comfortable as possible.
She attends many courses to advance her skills and knowledge, and believes modern technology has transformed dental visits into something very different to what people remember from their childhood. Ros feels that oral health is inextricably linked to general health, and that managing diet is a critical means of preventing dental problems. To extend her knowledge, she completed a Graduate Certificate of Human Nutrition at Deakin University.
In 2024, Ros was admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. Earning this membership involved years of hard work and a commitment to staying up to date with the ever-changing world of dentistry.
When not at work Ros is a keen reader and a crossword fanatic.
